Attended Today the Federal Parliament’s Social Services Development Committee at the Assembly and Committee Center in Villa Hargeisa.

The meeting was between the Social Services Development Committee of the People's Assembly and the trade union leaders @festusomalia . The meeting agenda was a discussion on Stages and General Conditions of Somali workers and the need to implement International Labor Organization Laws.

Mr. @OmarFarukOsman The Secretary General of @festusomalia have a report on the working conditions of workers in #Somalia, abuses and violations of workers' rights, widespread child labour, implementation of the decent work country programme and ways to achieve it.

The 3rd session of the 11th Parliment of the Federal Republic of Somalia parliament was opened today by president @HassanSMohamud of @TheVillaSomalia in the presence of the Prime Minister @HamzaAbdiBarre and the speaker of the Parliament of Djibouti. This session will be very busy and will be focusing on the completion of the constitution, electoral system and other laws related to the system of debt forgiveness and community development.
