Some Academy owners in Nigeria are after their own pockets. That's too bad for business. Example: I haven't heard that Taye Academy produced another player since 2014 when Kelechi Iheanacho left the club to join Manchester City Academy.

According to reports, Taye Academy received £350,000 for selling Iheanacho to #MCFC. City gave his father another £350,000. In total City spent around £900,000 to bring the then 18-year-old striker to England. Kelechi went on to have a decent football career, but Taye Academy is nowhere to be found. Sad.
