@NCRGOJO 2 days back I went skimmed through court ruling for Nithari hatyakaad, and my only conclusion is if a case gets too highlighted in India, justice will not be served as poor evidence handling, crime scene tampering will get highlighted and will make case weak for prosecution.

@malpani How is a student supposed to even train test models locally. Google does provide free gpus but they are not sufficient for long running tasks. Even things like autocad won’t work well on cheap configuration.

I see three problems in the context of the Telegram ban in India and NEET:

- Our institutes and bureaucrats are incompetent
- The ministry responsible for this is incompetent
- Students are gullible if they believe in anything they see on Telegram or other apps

So, in summary, we are in 2026 with 1990s problems.

@championswimmer @MohMaya97 Exactly same thoughts and for some reason I think krutrim time might have come. There are other listed cloud providers and also some data centre company by hiranandani, just pluck the most low hanging fruits and reduce usd pressure and things might turn of not as bad eventually.

Vladimir Levenshtein won the IEEE Hamming Medal for his work on edit distance. This is now a leetcode medium problem companies expect you to solve in 45 minutes. Either you are a Hamming Medal-level intellect who can derive the solution under interview pressure or you grinded a bunch of practice problems on this subtopic like the desperate job supplicant you are.

@championswimmer But aren’t forward deployed engineers precisely to solve the problem of slow adoption? The only bubble I see is AI wrapper startups like for memory with clean integration but no tech moat or cashflow by 18-20y. I looked at one and instantly realised it’s of no use for my workflow

@FangYi11101 I do python and many asks to use Java. While I code java a lot, I never put efforts to train muscle memory for it. I don’t even understand what’s the point of syntax when I can just write see if you can efficiency gain using latest 2026 features.
