Recently, I’ve been writing code in C++, Swift, Python & 6502 assembly language — I like to think it’s helping keep my 52 year old mind active! 😆

The 8-bit assembly language has been interesting after a long break; makes me appreciate modern languages & processors.

The TI-53 was the first programmable device I ever had. Looking back, it may be what sparked my interest in programming.
Several high school classmates had them too.
The keyboards failed on many of them, including mine. (I switched to a Casio fx-3600P.)

@JudgeDrokk @russty_russ The C64 was a bit too expensive at the time for us, but I was glad to get my hands on a second hand one about 18 months after the Spectrum.
As someone interested in music, the Spectrum’s lack of a sound chip made it a poor choice for me. But I still have fond memories of it.

The UK 'computer sales chart" for March 1983. Obviously the UK Government has just put an order in for BBC Model B's that week... surely?
The #C64 has pretty much just trickled into shops and YES it was EXPENSIVE!
