My favorite CS:GO memories were those nights when we’d stay up until 1–5 AM just playing with friends. No responsibilities, no worrying about the future, no “I have to wake up early tomorrow.” Just us laughing, arguing over stupid plays, losing matches, and saying “one more game” until the sun was almost up.
Now, almost all of those teenage friends have families, jobs, and lives of their own. We barely play anymore, and sometimes I find myself missing those nights more than I can explain.
I know people grow up. I know we’re supposed to move forward, make new memories, and leave some things behind. But a part of me still feels stuck in those moments.
Maybe I don’t really miss CS:GO itself. Maybe I miss the people we were back then.
I miss being young. I miss having everyone around. I miss those nights when life felt simple and the biggest problem we had was losing another match.
I know I need to move on, but sometimes I wish I could go back for just one night… just one more game with the old squad ❤️
