A4- Greeting the buses each morning gives me a chance to gauge which students had a bad morning or seem especially anxious. Taking the time to encourage them before they go in, then check on them early in the day, helps them know someone cares and start the day. #BSIChats
As a dean, I want to ensure each classroom is a learning environment with limited disciplinary distractions. When appropriate, I try to limit missed classroom instruction when discipline incidents arise.
A3- More than ever, our time to make an impact is limited. The possibility of missed school due to required quarantine days (for T’s & S’s) have amplified the need to make every instructional moment count. #BSIChats
A1- Jill, Student Services Manager in Marion County and looking forward to strengthening my relationships with school stakeholders as we progress through this very strange year. I am also excited about upcoming PD opportunities to expand my professional practice. #BSIChats
