My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.
It's not just Project 2025. This, from @NewYorker, describes a whole constellation of organizations that want to capture and politicize the US government

Trafficking into forced criminality: online scam centers present a worldwide challenge. Report from @TIME below outlines issue and highlights @INTERPOL_HQ operation Stormmakers II supported by Bali Process ⬇️
We joined the Italian Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee to provide evidence on #HumanTrafficking in the context of their inquiry into #HumanRights abuses worldwide. These urgent needs were brought into focus:
⚠️Less than 1% of #victims worldwide is ever identified, which hampers our ability to fight against this crime
👉strengthen identification and protection frameworks
⚠️In a year, roughly, for every 2,800 victims of trafficking, only one trafficker is prosecuted
👉get serious on investigation and prosecution and end the current #impunity #traffickers enjoy to grant justice to millions of victims
⚠️It is estimated that traffickers' profits amount to more than $150 billion a year
👉discourage the #demand fostering both labour and sexual #exploitation to upscale prevention efforts
⚠️75% of #HumanTrafficking victims are advertised #online, in the open
👉hold #tech companies liable for the harm facilitated by their platforms
👉multiply investment to give adequate tools to the anti-#trafficking practitioners working day in and out on the ground to make a difference.
🙏@lauraboldrini and @LopezPn for the invitation and leadership, and @ItalyatOSCE for the support. @OSCE stands ready to support further.

As noted by the @NLRapporteur, 2022 saw a 600% increase in the number of reported #Ukrainian victims of #humanTrafficking in the #Netherlands.
Today, in #theHague, we had a timely discussion with 🇳🇱stakeholders on the measures put in place to prevent #trafficking amid #refugee flows from 🇺🇦 and existing opportunities to strengthen the response against this crime and protect the most vulnerable.
🙏@RBX_NLD_MoJS for the cooperation!
