The letter indicates that per NY State guidelines if an account continues to be inactive for 36 months, it's ultimately subject to surrender to NY State. (!)
Per my bank's guidelines, "inactive" accounts are subject to a $50 yr fee. (2/5)

Today in economic injustices: I got a letter from my bank, one I have banked with for 20 years (!!) telling me that because I have not made a deposit or withdrawal in 12 months my account has been flagged as inactive. MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT, where I am putting money to SAVE it. (1/4)

@iansmithfitness Because some people CAN'T get it, if you have a particularly weakened immune system, for example or an allergy you may not be able to receive a vaccine. So vaccinating yourself helps those who CAN'T receive it.
