Is it just me or sometimes the whole racial thing can come out of hand?

I got accused of being racist by a customer because I let out a tired sigh after not understanding that she was looking for a white man, which I assume would be her significant other.

In my defense, I assumed that the man she was looking for was someone who came in the store a few minutes before she did and she never pointed out that she was looking for a white man. I either heard “a man” or “Emman”

So the bus driver didn’t allow me to get on the bus because I wasn’t at the bus stop. But here’s the thing, it says that it was going to come at 4:33. It was at 4:32 and technically, I could have gone on. 🙃

I just learned that one of my biggest pet peeve is someone justifying their attitude because of their ethnicity. You have that attitude because that’s who you are and that you know as an adult on how to address things in the room without having the need to be rude. 🙃

It’s a sad time for the Filipino community l, especially in Vancouver, for the tragedy that happened on a day that is to leave with a positive note. Praying for the families that lost their loved ones and as well, for the recovery of other victims. 💔
