Over the past weeks, @JillianMayer has participated in closed sessions with the Cohort 20 artists. Her expertise and critical feedback have significantly contributed to the development of the group’s work. We are now opening this conversation to the public. In this online talk, Jillian Mayer will share insights into her work, unpacking the concepts, processes, and questions that shape her exploration of digital culture and contemporary life. A multidisciplinary artist working across video, sculpture, performance, and immersive media, her practice critically examines our relationship with technology, the body, and the internet, challenging how we construct identity in an increasingly virtual world.
During the Cohort 20 sessions with @JillianMayer , we shared many tools and references that contribute to the way we understand learning and exchange, as a horizontal, dynamic, and active process.
Here we’re sharing some of the tools and references we explored, so you can look into them further.
We’re also working on building a library to gather all the material we share, so everyone can have access to it.

I’m excited to announce Loop's new Open Call!
This is our first collaboration with the ICA Miami Art + Research Program.
For the first critique session of 2026, I’m thrilled to welcome @JillianMayer, a Miami-based artist whose work delves into how technology shapes human relationships, identity, and the body in the digital age.
