A New Hampshire bar went viral after stray cats kept lingering around the tables every night.
In a small town in New Hampshire, a new bar had just opened when the owners noticed stray cats gathering around the building after dark.
At first, they were just outside by the alley and near the back door, waiting for scraps and trying to stay out of the cold.
Instead of chasing them away, the owners started feeding them and letting them warm up near the entrance. Before long, the cats got comfortable.
They began lingering around the bar, curling up under tables, sitting beside customers, and quietly keeping company with people who came in alone.
At first, customers thought it was just a funny little thing the bar was known for.
But soon, people started showing up just to see the cats. Some brought food. Some brought blankets. Some asked if the cats belonged to anyone.
Then, without anyone planning it, customers started adopting them one by one. What started as a few stray cats hanging around a bar turned into something much bigger.
The bar never meant to become a rescue. It just gave the cats a warm place to stay long enough for the right people to find them.
‼️UPDATE: 7 cats rescued from a sealed bin in San Antonio were saved and adopted. But justice still must be served‼️
Alley Cat Allies is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for sealing cats into two plastic bins to die in February of 2026.
Anyone with information is urged to call 311 and ask to speak with a San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS) investigator. Learn more here: https://t.co/gVr25iCvef
The seven cats saved were cut out of one of the bins just in time to be rushed to lifesaving medical care. Now, all have been adopted into homes where they can heal. Munchkin was the last to find a family just two weeks ago.
However, every cat in the second bin passed away before they could be rescued. This horrific act of cruelty cannot go unpunished. We are fighting in their memory and seeking the maximum sentence for all involved.
As an ACS spokesperson said: “Given the generous Alley Cat Allies reward in connection with this case, we are hopeful the reward may encourage anyone with information to come forward and assist investigators."
Pharma giant Merck, which previously was implicated in injecting Ridlgan beagles with rabies, is STILL buying dogs from Ridglan as recently as 5/18.
30 pups were purchased and sent to a Merck facility in Kansas. This is corporate criminality, and it must be stopped.
The mother and 3 of the 6 kittens have been trapped. Mother is extremely feral right now. So that is 10 babies saved in 3 weeks. 10 babies that need spay/neuter, 3 boosters, rabies, microchip, deworming and flea treatment ~ $4000. PLEASE help with a free retweet. In dire need of help. I will go back tonight and every night until I trap the last 3 siblings of this litter 💔😭😴🙏

Does your neighbors pets come over to greet you when you get home from work?
One of our neighbors cats come running across the street every time they hear my daughters jeep 😂
This is Buster. 🐾❤️
Buster has spent 4 years watching the world from behind shelter walls. He's not the dog rushing up to greet you. He's the one hiding in the corner, unsure if people can really be kind. The world has scared him for so long that he's forgotten what safety feels like.💔
But, underneath that fear is a gentle soul wno deserves patience, love, and a chance to finally exhale.
Shelter life is no place for a dog to spend year after year waiting to be chosen.
Don’t overlook Buster because he’s scared. He just needs some love and patience. What a beautiful dog he is. 💯
Do you know someone who would be interested in adopting Buster?
Dottie, a bottlenose dolphin who lived 39 years at SeaWorld, died this week without ever feeling the rhythm of the ocean, or the freedom she deserved.
SeaWorld describes Dottie as a devoted mother of four calves, but they separated her from every single one of them. That is not devotion, that is the reality of captivity, where profit determines family bonds.
Dottie was born into concrete tanks and died in them. She never experienced the open sea. She spent her life performing for tourists, not because it was natural or enriching, but because SeaWorld's business model depends on it.
SeaWorld positions itself as an institution rooted in marine science. They know, because the science is unambiguous, that cetaceans are highly intelligent, wide-ranging, socially complex animals. They know that no tank, however large, can meet the physical or psychological needs of a dolphin. And yet they continue their breeding program, ensuring that more animals like Dottie will be born into the same captive cycle, never knowing the life they were meant to live.
Dottie's story should not end with a tribute post. It should end with change.
SeaWorld must end its dolphin breeding program now. No more calves born into captivity. No more mothers separated from their young. No more lives defined by performance and concrete walls.
Dottie deserved better. The dolphins who come after her deserve better.
