Knowledge bomb ๐ฃ incoming:
90% of your pickleball shot happens before you touch the ball. 3 simple things you can control without even touching a ball that impact the shot. 1.) Footwork 2.) Paddle Position and 3.) Posture. If you get those three things dialed in itโs pretty difficult to miss.

Proud of the ๐ฅ & ๐ฅ this week with Megan and Randy Blanco at the APP Mesa Open. Thanks to an amazing group of fans for cheering loud and proud!
If you want to hear more of my musings about the event, check out the Monday Minute blog I wrote this week:

This was Megan and my 6th ๐ฅ gold this year, 11/12 (92%) medal rate this year, and our 11th Gold as a duo since last yearโฆbut whoโs counting? ๐คฃ
It was also my 6th medal in mixed this year with 8 different partners! Maybe one day Iโll find my Prince Charming ๐คด ๐คช
Thank you to APS for a great open event and shout out to my fellow #girls in the draw - Averry Chew and Madison Grollman. Thank you to my partner and fellow thrive player Alex Emery. His forehand drives and backhand twoey bounce speed ups are the stuff of legends. #pickleball
๐ท New APP World Rankings just dropped ๐ท

4. Aim: donโt over complicate it. Start by aiming the poach cross court because itโs the most natural swing path. Master that first.

Singles legend #chrishaworth joined the pod this week to discuss all things pickle, surviving 3 events a week, his close knit family, beating Ben and Fed, not losing for a year and who will be accepting the role of his new menโs dubs partner this year?

When to use it: I love this in mixed (either on forehand or backhand side) to hyper focus on getting the counter down and away from the opponent in front of you.
