Dear Fellow #Pompey Fans. I see the hate for Bishop creep in again, so here's some stats.

Haaland scores 1 goal every 4.3 shots.

In the Prem 1 shot takes 2 completed crosses/passes.

Pompey have 1 completed per 2 crosses.

17 chances per goal, if Bishop=Haaland.

Perspective.

@EsElCapitan I don’t think you can have both, though. You either get someone to hold the ball up and do a job, or you get those that can spin and create for themselves.

Again, not Bishop’s fault if that’s our ‘style’. Brown or Kirk could dribble/pass/etc but remain unused

@powell14797 @pompeycal_ I play regularly, but I’m a different player. I play off the last man and run in behind. Our current Pompey set up doesn’t allow that.

I’d like Bishop to turn and shoot as well, but that’s not on him. Mous doesn’t ask that of him… does he?

@pompeycal_ @powell14797 If you re-read my statement, you’ll see that I said “IF” Bishop had a similar conversion rate. Therefore my point is that IF (IF!!) he converted 1 in 4, he’d require 17 crosses/passes… which we don’t do!

@CamGpfc Thanks, Cameron. Have you a genuine response to my claim that it takes 17 chances created for Bishop to score 1 goal? Have you seen a game where we’ve put 10+ balls into genuine goal-scoring positions?

@powell14797 @pompeycal_ How, exactly, is he to create the chance for himself? Everyone is very quick to criticise, but offer no solutions. Would you prefer he pick up the ball deep like Kane before taking on the entire opposition?

@HancockAnalysis Jack, any chance you can locate the specific chances for Bishop with the highest xG? Or can’t we see that much detail? Apologies if that’s not a thing. I’d like to review the 7 highest to see them in person and review accordingly.
