@MJH510 @WarrenMobility @TransForm_Alert@StreetsblogSF This stuff is really hard, but projects that create broad benefit with broad input will always be hard. I don’t know the specifics, and developers will assuredly get outsized benefits. But if you believe it will be transformative… I think we should do more transformative.
@SOXNHOX@MJH510@OakStadiumWatch@sinovic @HalpernAlex @SamRoecker Oh, I forgot that related to KC/Oak there is a 6th great rivalry titled Michael and Jim vs. a bottle of Old Forrester. Epic battle with no winners.
@SOXNHOX@MJH510@OakStadiumWatch@sinovic @HalpernAlex @SamRoecker How about we just agree that there is a different list called “best rivalries” and that list is: NYY/Bos, Chi/Stl, LAD/SFG, Hou/Tex, and finally KC/Oak (perhaps only according to @MJH510 and me).
@SOXNHOX@MJH510@OakStadiumWatch@sinovic @HalpernAlex @SamRoecker I live in KC. I’m a lifelong Royals fan. I care. I also understand that Northeastern cities are closer together than much of the rest of the country. Regional rivalries aren’t just measured by mileage.
@SOXNHOX@MJH510@OakStadiumWatch@sinovic @HalpernAlex @SamRoecker They added intracity/ intraregional, which is why there isn’t anything like Yankees/Red Sox. Maybe it’s coincidence that all of the ones on the original list involve inter league play, but that’s what makes Cubs and Cards stand out. Based on division rivalry, not geography.
