At my work at this point I am a 50:50 mix of Tony and Nat from Utopia (roughly described as Australian The Office where those 2 characters are middle management and every manager above them causes the chaos despite them pointing out how badly things will go)
Is it wrong to ask for time to yourself? I just want to sit in a room where I can control my own environment without being told it's "freezing" at 25 degrees.

"Can you do work thing?"
"Yeah we can do that."
"Can you also do work things 2-9?"
"I can do exactly 4 of those."
"I need an update right now on the other 5."
"That's a lol no."
"So you'll update us on them after the meeting?"
"That's still a lol no."
My daily work right now
I'm the sort of person who feels guilty being on annual leave from work because I know how much of a shitshow everything was on Friday and I don't want my colleagues to get landed with the aftermath.
Having the dread of going back to work tomorrow. It will be chaos because I have to do 2 jobs while training someone new on my old job while general chaos happens.
