@AikadoLoR If tft had an end turn button, or something to that effect I think you’d see a sharp decline in interest. The “auto” of autobattler really carries the casual friendliness of it.
@AikadoLoR this highlights for me the greatest strength and weakness of The Bazaar. I love taking my time and being able to play one run over multiple days.
But the fact the game doesn’t just keep going and it feels so isolating makes it hard to default to.
@SithlordzomB Speaking in private has zero bearing on guilt. Any points raised to the judge should be cross referenced and investigated by that judge.
Giving a judge information first does not matter, they aren’t emotional parents sorting out a squabble between siblings. 2/2
it’s sad how Lorcana is championed as a safe space for women and yet so many cannot fathom the concept of a private judge call ever being appropriate
it is never the job of a player to regulate their opponent’s emotions or enforce rules
@SithlordzomB I understand your point. I’d suggest talking on a podcast is very different to telling your opponent something they can misinterpret as an accusation of cheating. 1/2
@BladerMagician@beefcake_19 not at all, just doesn’t really matter in the context of his opponent having extra cards
genuinely cannot believe your last tweet is about the importance of speaking to a judge to appeal a decision on cheating and you’re not on Zan’s side - you can’t be a real person truly
hopefully this ends the witch hunt where the community was mad at Zan for correctly calling a judge
the negativity towards Zan based on the account of the person who drew two cards (and didn’t take any accountability for it) has been shameful
@BladerMagician@beefcake_19 I can tell you subscribe to the idea that your first thought is the most accurate and correct assessment of a situation but thankfully most of us grew out of that
@BladerMagician@beefcake_19 Look I saw your tweet and it must suck feeling like you got cheated by the #1 pro in another game and no one giving a fuck but maybe don’t project however you feel about Alan onto Zan
@BladerMagician@beefcake_19 yeah so they worked out he had an extra card congrats this is not new information to Sadder, Zan or the judges - Zan “being sus” is not more sus than his opponent having an extra unexplainable card
@BladerMagician@beefcake_19 if you’re having to establish the worldview that actually Zan didn’t draw a card to kick off this chain of events you’re too far gone but I hope you enjoy whatever reality you’re in
@moxjeremy@stughezz I completely agree. It’s fascinating to watch the mental gymnastics people go through to justify why someone who was potentially cheated against is in the wrong for a judge ruling they didn’t make.
@Darth_turtle26 I don’t disagree at all, I would prefer a judge got called sooner, but that didn’t happen and I don’t think Zan should be eating the brunt of criticism in a situation where both players are at - albeit very different levels of - fault.
@stughezz “we cannot know” that Saddler had an extra card (the reason he was DQ’d) but we can attribute malice to someone making a judge call for an opponent having an extra card? Seek help
@stughezz in the same way you attribute malice to Zan seeing a double draw and biding his time I can attribute reasons he didn’t immediately call a judge - you shouldn’t assume the worst in people
@ChromasIV “It appears my opponent has an extra card” can easily be misinterpreted as “I am accusing you of cheating” and that creates friction many would rather avoid. It’s for the judge to investigate and handle, not the player
@ChromasIV A judge has the duty to both players and can cross reference accounts of information.
Speaking to a judge privately in no one way is a negative and shouldn’t be viewed as anything other than the way Zan felt comfortable raising the call.
