Haotong Li just delivered another electric press conference at the RBC Canadian Open. After a 6 under par 64 today, he spoke about having to deal with the demons in his head:
“Once that bad Haotong comes in, you just tell him to go away. Which is what I did today, like, even on the back nine, that guy's there.
“I literally just tell that guy, f-- off, leave me alone. I'm sorry about my language, but, that's what it is, yeah.”
I’ve met Haotong a few times on the Asian Tour over the last few years and he’s genuinely one of the most authentic personalities on tour. It’s never boring with Haotong 🇨🇳

No matter who you support in politics, it is completely unacceptable to demean, objectify, belittle or offend women.
The sexist campaign targeting Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan is a disgrace and the people behind these materials should withdraw them immediately.
So this guy's real name is Richard Melville Hall.
Does that give us the option to call him "Moby Dick" or with maybe the way he's carrying on today, we might go with "Moby Dickhead"? 🤣🤣🤣
If you’re referring to the “Ditch the Witch” phrase Jacinta, I think you’ll find that the word “Witch” is historically and culturally gender-neutral, so they say. 🤣🤣🤣
Sexism just has no place in our political debate, full stop.
A billboard truck using sexist language has been driving around Melbourne as part of a secret and well-funded political campaign.
People are entitled to disagree with me. That’s democracy.
But I care that this attacks women.
And I care about who’s next.
The political debate in this country has become corrosive over the last few years.
So much so that behaviour which would once have been condemned is now just another part of life.
Media don’t call it out.
They report on this like it’s fair game, like it’s normal.
But nothing about this is normal.
If you don’t take a stand against this creeping culture, it has a tendency of taking over.
You only have to look at America to know that.
I cannot stand back and let Victoria become a place where this sort of language is fair game against any woman at work - or any woman in leadership.
If we don’t draw a line, the line will keep moving.
At the end of the day, I just want my kids to grow up knowing that women deserve the same respect as men.
I want girls to know that they should never need to aim lower just to feel safer.
And I want boys to know that they don’t have to put women ‘in their place’ to make their own way in the world.
Sexism hurts everyone.
If the media won’t call out it, I will.

@Badhombre I suppose that's what happens when you get your ticket from a scalper who assures you, "you'll be sitting on your teams side" and you're not. 🤣🤣🤣
