It’s hard to express for kids who grew up in the 80s what Hulk Hogan meant to us. He was a real life super hero. He taught us to say our prayers and take our vitamins. And even when we knew WWF was pre-determined, it didn’t matter. He was an idea, a dream we all wanted to be: a man who could conquer giants.

Despite his public failings and regardless of how fashionable it is in pro-wrestling circles to hate him, I will always love him. Rest in peace, brother. See you in the kingdom.

BREAKING: At a Board of Commissioners meeting tonight, The Gathering development received rezoning approval and adopted a finalized MOU. This approval all but guarantees the construction of a mixed-use arena at the southernmost end of Forsyth County.

In the coming months, the Krause team will finalize details for construction with Forsyth County and will prepare a proposal for NHL expansion to the Forsyth arena. At the end of the meeting, Krause thanked his team, the county, and Bobby Orr, who was in attendance tonight, for introducing him to the league.
