@robsaker @afneil Hold on Rob, the UK bankrupted itself fighting the Nazi’s while the US took massive advantage not entering into land lease until Britain had undergone a fire sale of its gold and overseas assets, including in US. US significantly improved its global position at Britain’s expense.
