@vitamvivere@unusual_whales There’s no way the bank is giving the same interest rate on a 50-year mortgage as a 39-year mortgage. The rate will be higher so the comparisons don’t even make it look as bad as it really is.
@JustinACore But there’s this….”CHINESE SCIENTISTS DEVELOPING DRUG TO EXTEND HUMAN LIFE TO 150 YEARS — NYT
•CHINESE RESEARCHERS AT LONVI BIOSCIENCES IN SHENZHEN ARE DEVELOPING AN ANTI-AGING DRUG BASED ON A GRAPESEED COMPOUND CALLED PCC1 (PROCYANIDIN C1).”
@JustinACore You know the bank isn’t going to give the same interest rate on a 50-year loan as a 30-year loan. It’s going to be a higher interest rate, even if only 0.10% or something small, which will make a big difference over 50 years and some difference over even 5 years.
@NickolsShe54026@EricLDaugh The insurance companies already are commercial companies. Cigna, Aetna, United Health, etc. There are some restrictions from government, like the fact that preexisting conditions must be covered.
