@kwadwo777 My mom and dad were good people, that both lived through the 1918-20 Spanish flu. Mom 10 and dad 12
Mom said everyone on their block lost someone to the that epidemic.
They got to better times and we will to
@Anntmel @ThisCrazyTrain As a kid growing up in the late 40’s and early 50’s the Eatons and Simpsons catalogue rained supreme. Each had a kids girls and boys toy section.
@arruda_j@CycleToronto Well Jim did your mom or dad also tell you when you first started driving, that if you accidentally hit someone while driving you should immediately call 911 and wait at the scene, not like the present increase in hit and run incidents.
#bill282#MovingOntarionMoreSafely so if I give myself pedal assist I don’t fit the criteria? Give me a break I’m 80 years old, I want to get my groceries while staying green
Officers talked with Bowmanvilles' famous uni-cyclist today!
DYK that when you pass a cyclist you must leave at least 1 metre? Drivers need to be aware of Clarington bike lanes: you cannot drive, park or stop in bike lanes. Cyclists also need to know the rules!

@samielhajjeh My early working years were in factories at an hourly wage, no paid sick leave. If you were sick and stayed home you lost a days pay, most went to work anyway and we never really gave a thought about spreading our sickness.
Payed sick leave is the right path forward 👍
Thanks @TownofWhitby and staff for the early spring sweeping of the bike lanes/rural paved shoulders like this photo of Anderson, just south of 407. Removing the winter sand and debris makes it so much safer for people on bikes!! @mgaskell_whitby@RegionofDurham
How many cyclist lives in @TownofWhitby and or @oshawacity and or passing through @RegionofDurham will lose their lives this Spring / Summer !! Take out traffic lanes to save cyclist lives !!! https://t.co/FSCt1jR6aJ
