@GolfChannel JJ Spayn was ranked higher than Cantlay, Thomas & Schauffle. I get Thomas and even Xander but Cantlay ? No likability, slow play and mediocre team event record. The singles lineup is a head scratcher. Why was Azinger’s method discarded ?

@CharlieRymerPGA I’ve been watching the PC and the level of golf competition has been great. Then again, Charlie thinks the McLemore golf resort is great. I’ve been there - the golf is good, not great and the hotel & food sucks.

@JoelMBeall In retrospect how stupid was the scheduling? Beth Nickols, Mel Reid etc think the terrible ratings were due to bad publicity. Competing vs NFL, NCAA & US Open tennis was a loser. BTW - only 5 of top 20 ranked players were in Solheim Cup. Only 2 from US. Like watching B team

@chambleebrandel A question: Being ranked #1 is nice but it doesn’t carry any special benefits. The difference between the top 10 ranked players is marginal. Why do you media guys make it a big deal? Tired of Scheffler being incessantly prefaced with “World #1”.

@aronpricepga @chambleebrandel Those purses are limited to specific tournaments and a minority of players. The idea being to incentivize the top guys to compete. It also is the road to the Majors. Guys went to LIV for only one reason- money. That’s greed.

@GolfMonthly Beginning Thursday here are the US events the SC was competing against: NFL, NCAA football, US Open tennis. They had no chance. All the talk about publicity is nonsense. Their problem can be summed up in one word- SCHEDULING.
