Botanists from around the world couldn't resist identifying ruderal plants and exploring the biodiversity around IFEMA during #IBC2024 in Madrid. One of the standout species in @inaturalist:
💛Centaurea solstitialis💛
Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting my work at @ibc2024 . Now I am ready for the next stage, I am still looking for a PhD, and I am open to opportunities (different families and topics). Now I live in Berlin, and I am available for opportunities.
Today is the last opportunity to check out our poster at #IBC2024, but you can always reach out by DM or visit the collection at the Biology building at UAM, Madrid! 🪴 (some members of the team 👇)
Volunteering for the #IBC2024 congress was such an experience. Lots of known faces, new people and science. And I even got my self-made certificate of attendance thanks to #LabeleR! Fun times. @ibc2024

I am seeing a lot of news in the press (at least in Spain) saying that botanists "have decided to get rid of all offensive names on plants". As always some media do not contrast and misinform, this is what has happened. 👇🏻
