A real lifehack is... live frugally when you're young to invest and augment your earnings for your whole life. Then, you gradually ramp up your spending from that frugal base, year by year. It's psychologically pleasant, and independent of your salary level.

@shebringsjoy Everyone has to grapple with the difference between “what they thought life should be” and “what life really is”. What you describe is one flavor of it, but the remedy is always the same: acceptance, and dealing with the world as it is. Stop wishing for it to be different.
I love seeing a new eval with such low pass rates for frontier models. It feels like waking up to a fresh blanket of snow outside, completely untouched.
