Water over the tops of my shoes almost the whole way.
Mud and debris flowing on the trails.

A group of toddlers from a daycare walked past.
They and the supervisors were singing a children’s song about dinosaurs 🦖
I took it as a message directed at me, a dinosaur from another time

No poison can steal this resilience,
one life to the next phase, a field
of estates, many in this place we call space.
The observer holds the key. Innocence
is safe. Ignorance is danger here.

Respect all beings, including the one
I keep. The world inside of me
grows in knowing it can trust me
to listen when it speaks.

I feed sanctuary and peace,
a necessity. I allow it
to flow freely through my being,
saturating the valleys and streams
in divinity’s dreams.

The word set free
to name me, geometry.
taking shape new lands birthed.
I let it infuse my being
with the embodiment
of its blueprint, all the ingredients
need come to de light, to spend,
the day soaking in shared company.

Delete all patterns I created
in confusion or arrogance.
At least they were honest.
