@elonmusk The end result is right. The debt has to go down. Unlike a business you buy and turn around by edict , democracies move a step at a time. This bill is the best step in years. We need to work together for the long haul, one step at a time. Please use your influence well.
@a_gossweiler@MargoMartin47@PressSec Andreas, please read history. No one in our government in either party is a facist or a dictator. We do crate government, it doesn’t dictate us. Your mental health will be better if you see the good in everyone.
@a_gossweiler@MargoMartin47@PressSec I choose to celebrate a child being safe in a mom’s arms. A cynical attitude is unhealthy for me and you. A gracious attitude adds to your health and longevity. If they are lying, let them suffer. Don’t join them?
@DeanKen70873195@RevDrBarber I agree, Dean. I confess. I pastored for many years and most money was spent inwardly. We need to change that. Our communities need churches that face outward and follow Jesus in serving so people can choose to break the cycle of poverty is broken. Jesus taught it, we can do it.
@reachjulieroys@ShaneClaiborne Jesus never called on the government to care for the poor. He called his followers to that. Pastors, lead your churches, Jesus’s followers, in His way. The gospel is revealed when the Church serves, not when the government serves.
@philvischer It’s is the Americanized version of Christianity that expects the Government to do the job of Christ’s followers. We can’t outsource the Gospel. Church, rise up. It starts with us, Phil.
@philvischer Phil, this has nothing to do with politics, Jesus never asked the Roman Government to care for image bearers. He called the church. The Country is not the Church. The President is not the Pastor. The Government is not God. Followers of Jesus have more than enough wealth.
@ZachWLambert Zach, I get your care for the marginalize. I share it. These words of Jesus are spoken to my followers. Not the government. He called “His followers.” Rise up, Church!
@erichoke I’m not partisan, I’m not defending any action. The tariffs are being enacted to force Canada, China, and Mexico to take action against illegal border crossing and fentanyl production and smuggling.
@erichoke Change is difficult when people fear loss. Leading them through the fear to see the benefit will bring them along and serve them as the process the grief of change.
