@Viking_Ma Ethylene apparently. Oranges only go orange in countries where the temperature drops low enough, so they sometimes need help. Totally harmless, apparently, but then so is eating green oranges.

@Viking_Ma Also from QI, apparently in many parts of the world oranges are green even when ripe and have to be gassed to turn them orange for sale in Europe.

@IAmInPrint Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester are all good shouts. Pretty central with good transport links and lots of great stuff going on. Winchester is great but a long way for many people.

@JenniSpangler1 My parents were musicians - music lessons at school involved wheeling in a TV and watching my mum for 20 mins. Being creative was always accepted as a viable option. Plus my English teacher saw creativity as a positive and not just something that made me a pain in the backside.
