@mpatti @lenniemooremus Yes, interesting. The lines will become quite blurred though... plenty of very simple tools out there that generate music/rhythms that don't really fall under the banner of 'AI', or do they... Max/MSP and Ableton for example. I use a lot of izotope stuff for mixing.
@67_suze So sorry to hear this Sue. Can’t believe it’s been so long since we’ve seen you both. Sending you lots of love and we must sort out a time to come and visit. x
George Bruns isn't a film composer that's ever been on my radar but after listening to the original Jungle Book score (not songs) I'm blown away. And I realise I must have heard loads of his music as a kid. Amazing stuff! #Disney
@UPS_UK I'm trying to change the delivery address for a parcel but your website won't let me , 'due to tech difficulties'. Delivery scheduled for today (2nd attempt) but nobody will be there. I've paid the custom charge. I don't want the parcel to go back to Germany!
@ttwardle Then there's the recording itself, which managed to capture something quite magical. I have heard it performed by others and it sounded terrible...
@ttwardle Max has that enviable skill of taking the basic building blocks of music and reinventing it, making it sound fresh without being trite or pastiche. What he does is incredibly simple but he has the skill and confidence to pull it off.
Sometimes those wonderful life affirming moments happen out of the blue. I had an idea… 200 tape machines in a room. Cam commissioned 10 controller boxes but at the end of the last day the batteries ran down and this happened… #spitfireaperture4
