@acampbell99 @wordsintobirds @NianticLabs This article is a Bait and Switch. The issue here isn't Pokemon Go, but our societal perceptions on race and equality. Actually, I don't play Pokemon Go, my son did for a short while, but we live in a largely rural setting; not much for him to do with hardly any Pokemon nearby.

@acampbell99 @wordsintobirds @NianticLabs Outsourcing the crowdsourced data to create Ingress made sense for their first effort at an AR game. Can't say whether or not they recognized the distribution correlated to more affluent areas, but now that the information is out there, @NianticLabs need to add diverse locations.
