@ginacarano Proud of you, what a tremendous accomplishment! I have a lot of respect for how you and Rhonda have handled this. Looking forward to tonight and hoping for the best for you. I’m in your corner! Thanks most of all for putting God first in your post.
Paul’s point in Rom 8:7-16 was that by uniting with Christ we now have the power through the Holy Spirit to win our battle with sin. But in vs 17 he says that if we share in Christ’s glory we must also share in His suffering. While we’re here on earth things won’t always be smooth and easy. The results of our sin will decay our bodies. That will be painful.
And when we choose to stand with Jesus we’ll be attacked just like He was. There will be pain from persecution.
But Paul says this temporary pain and suffering will be more than worth it when we get the eternal rewards that come from being united with Jesus. It will start with a new home. We’ll be in the perfection of heaven rather than in this challenging environment on earth. And we’ll have new bodies. Perfect bodies that will last forever with no sickness or pain.
That glory is coming. We just have to be patient and wait for it!
Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what “faith” are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion? Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)? Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general “faith” that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions? What “faith” are you talking about?
Today, I ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in memory and respect of Corey Comperatore, who tragically lost his life shielding his family. Virginia stands in solidarity with all Pennsylvanians and we continue to pray for his family and those who remain in critical condition.
Donald Trump @realdonaldtrump was just shot at his rally in PA.Spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.
“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”
Let’s all be praying for President Trump’s complete recovery. God protected him today. Let’s all be praying for the future of our country as well.
@pasumachuu If San Francisco were to come back, and win, they will immortalize Aiyuk’s catch off of the deflection like Franco Harris’s Immaculate Reception or Dwight Clark’s The Catch
