@jamie_hardt Sound Devices 888, Zoom F8, and Zoom H6 for portability. For battery life, the F8 with a smart battery is the champion, it also records 192Hz. Been using the F8 since it came out and the 888 2 years.

@EmilyEMeo I used them to record an ambience in a quiet room where I was hearing subtle creaks from the building I couldn’t hear when I took off my headphones. Very cool mics!

@can__top @rene_coronado The ambience in the picture was so quiet, but with the gain cranked, I could hear slight movement in the building that was unsettling and I couldn’t hear when I took the headphones off.

@can__top @rene_coronado You know, they are both great mics. They do sound different. To my ears, I like the basicUCHO’s a bit better, I feel like they have less high end, and slightly less high end noise when cranking the gain to extremes.
