@TomCrean @CoachBenJohnson The irony is that Hawkins played two years at Howard then transferred to Minn for one year and Battle (from MN) went to GWU for two years before going to Minn. Not saying they didn’t get better at Minn but neither guy went there out of HS and Minn got them to “transfer up”.

@NStauskas11 As someone that recruited Kessler & coached him I can tell you he’s zero maintenance, very self aware and coachable. In the NBA he’s a versatile defender with length and defensive feel. With all the Mavs injuries & switching they are doing I’m guessing he’s earned Kidd’s trust.

This really stings. Lou Colombano (along with Kathy) were the most supportive boosters in my 14 years at Pepperdine because they were full of love.

They often traveled with us and loved being around the guys. They were the same when we won or lost - the best!

The Sacramento Kings are hiring Quinton Crawford as head coach of the franchise’s NBA G League Stockton Kings, sources tell @TheAthletic. Crawford, 33, spent last seven seasons as an NBA assistant, including 2023-24 in Phoenix. He was part of the 2020 Lakers championship staff.
