It’s a superb aircraft with a story all of its own, and we’re genuinely excited to welcome it to this year’s flying display.

This week is #VolunteersWeek (1-7 June). @SSAFA's Prison-In-Reach volunteers support members of the Armed Forces community who are in prison.
For many years, has run a successful scheme for veterans in the criminal justice system (VCJS) throughout the UK. Our SSAFA volunteers make a real difference by providing essential support during these incredibly difficult times.
Here’s some wonderful feedback given to one of our in-reach volunteers: "Thanks Trevor, for your time and help. I’m nervous but also confident I have everything in place to rebuild my life. Thank you for all your support, emails and visits whilst I’ve been at HMP Aylesbury."
Here’s another received by a volunteer supporting an Armed Forces veteran in prison in Northern Ireland: "Without SSAFA in here I don't know what I would have done."
Thank you so much to our amazing volunteers for all they do!

This week is #VolunteersWeek (1-7 June). Meet Richard Scott, a volunteer caseworker and community engagement volunteer with the North West England team.
A volunteer with @SSAFA for over two years, Richard took voluntary redundancy from employment and wanted to utilise his skills and experience following his career in the military and industry, so decided to volunteer for SSAFA, as he was keen to help those who need our support.
Richard says: "I really enjoy case working as it allows me to work directly with beneficiaries and see the positive impact SSAFA has on their lives. I also love working within a fantastic team, doing incredible work with incredible people!"
For anyone thinking of #volunteering with SSAFA, Richard suggests, "Give it a go! You don’t need to have been in the military and volunteering with SSAFA can be flexible."
Thank you Richard and all our amazing volunteers for all you do!
