@SpeakerJohnson Why would you quote scripture in such a disrespectful manner and stain the word "reconciliation" with political connotations. Disgusting.
@LindseyGrahamSC@realDonaldTrump@JDVance I find it difficult to comprehend a human being as conflicted and hypocritical as you, even taking into consideration that you're a politician.
@RyanWaltersSupt You might want to review that. Question: What is freedom of religion? Answer: You can practice any religion, or not practice a religion.
@SpeakerJohnson Hijacked? She addressed Mr. President with respect. Radical ideology? She said things similar to what Jesus might have said. Even before she addressed him directly, I thought what a sad state of affairs when any public statements about truth and honesty illicit anger in leaders.
Chris Jones (@JonesForAR) explains the importance of leveraging technology to the future of the Democratic Party and why his qualifications as a bona fide “rocket scientist” make him the candidate of choice to be the next vice chair of the DNC.
@RyanWaltersSupt@realDailyWire Link didn't take me to your oped, but keep ginning up the grievances. I'm sure Jesus would be proud of you.... In the meantime, Merry Christmas.
If my mama wrote a message to me like Pete Hegseth’s mom wrote to him, her words would stand from then on. She might have forgiven me later but the meaning of what she wrote would not change. Just sayin’
Couldn't say it any better myself. Seems that the problem isn't kids having access to sacred books because it's all out there on internet. The problem is making a book (library of religious books AKA Bible) into a political tool.
I’m Muslim. If somebody tried to bring the Quran into my children’s public schools, I would fiercely oppose it. Not only out of respect for other people’s faiths (or lack thereof) but also because making religion a political instrument corrupts faith
@DavidCrabbUK @Antunes1 “Math….and arithmetic” Thank god he’s bringing arithmetic back to math…. But wait, he’s closing the Dept. of Ed. and placing all accountability with states to implement 10-point plan (most of which is also in place but lacking funding). Seems like a perfect business model…
This for text that is available free online to every student. It's not about the text, it's about the political statement and political points for the supt. of OK education.
Original bid request for 55,000 Bible to place in Oklahoma classrooms would have accepted only leather-like material that also contain the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and Constitution. https://t.co/OFm5oabaYt via @Oklahoma_Voice
I wonder if we're going to find a friend of our gov. benefiting from the sale of the property for this prison or that there's some other benefit to a person of power? I'm ashamed that this thought comes to mind.
I wonder why there’s been no mention of the Criminal Detention Facilities Review Committee regarding the Governor’s decision to build a prison in Franklin County. The District 4 Committee is required by law to advise government officials on such plans and review and approve them.
