Yesterday, I had the honour of addressing the @FollowCII Delhi HR Conclave 2025 as Chairman of CII Delhi. The theme, "Shaping the Future of Work: Innovation, Resilience, and Sustainability in HR," set the tone for a thought provoking discussion on how HR is shaping organisations in today’s world.

In my address, we spoke about how HR has evolved from being a support function to becoming a strategic driver of workplace culture, innovation, and employee empowerment. We explored key challenges such as talent acquisition and retention in a rapidly changing workforce where employees seek meaningful careers, flexibility, and purpose-driven environments. I shared insights on global practices like “Work Where You Thrive” and work models that demonstrate how technology, empathy, and trust can redefine productivity and engagement.

Another focus was diversity, equity, and inclusion. A diverse workforce is not only ethical but also a business advantage like innovation, improving decision-making, and building more engaged teams. We also discussed how sustainability and digital transformation can reshape employee engagement strategies and retention efforts.

As part of CII’s initiatives, we are actively working to strengthen HR capabilities through workshops, training programmes, and innovative models to empower employees. These efforts aim towards higher commitment and productivity while preparing organisations for the future of work.
