Our newest model is cheaper, faster, and more accurate than ever before. Our ML team pored over documents after documents and loss case after loss case to get it to the model you see today. Give it a try and let me know if you have any feedback!
Today weโre announcing r-1, our new document parsing model. Itโs more accurate than our most powerful agentic OCR models, faster, and up to 6x cheaper.
At @reductoai, we spent two years building specialized models for complex visual layouts, tables spanning multiple pages, and key formatting like strikethroughs. We then used everything we learned to build r-1, the first in a new generation of models designed to handle the hardest documents without multiplying cost.
This early preview delivers a 20% lower error rate than our most accurate legacy agentic models and will keep improving with new checkpoints over the next few weeks.
Accuracy is only the beginning. r-1 preview is available at 1ยข per page all-in, with additional volume discounts as you scale. In the near term weโre also going to release r-1 mini, and an auto mode that intelligently selects the right approach for each page.
If youโre currently using another parser, weโre offering up to $5,000 in credits to evaluate and migrate. You can claim the migration offer and learn more about r-1 using the links in the comments.
Happy parsing!
r-1 is an extremely robust model that can single-shot almost any type of complex documents.
We trained this model to support at max 8k resolution, making it capable of reading small text from large dense documents. It doesn't even require ANY embedded metadata!
The r-1 preview version we released this morning will keep getting better and better as we get more feedback from our users and putting more effort into data curation and post-training pipeline.

@Deathswap1@themacrotourist@macrolutzie Banning oil exports would work in limiting price in the short term, but I'd imagine that would only further exacerbate the capex problem and limit future production growth.
@themacrotourist Denison might be worth a look; they hold 2.5M lbs of uranium in inventory and the CEO also ran the Uranium Participation Corp that became the Sprott Uranium Trust.
@themacrotourist Sprott Uranium definitely looking good. Are you looking at any of the jr miners? Might have more asymmetrical upside with some potential option plays for some convexity
@themacrotourist What's your take on oil equities? The price of oil itself is definitely much more speculative, but oil equities don't yet seem to reflect sustained $90+ oil.
@themacrotourist I bought some calls on Schwab that I can't close out. They are OTM but I wouldn't be surprised if people are too lazy to call Schwab to try to exercise. Enjoy the free premium ๐
