Par respect pour les spectateurs, elle n'a fait qu'effleurer les abominations commises le 7 octobre par les arabes de Gaza. Elle vous a épargné les femmes violées en tournantes puis brulées vives, les familles attachées ensemble et découpées, père, mère, enfant. La mère d'un enfant de 7 ans, enceinte presque à terme, éventrée, le bébé poignardé devant elle et son autre fils abattu, Ils ne vous ont pas montré les arabes de Gaza en train de violer les corps de leurs victimes assassinées, ni ceux qui ont découpé les seins d'une jf, à Nova, avec lesquels ils ont joué au football, pendant qu'un complice continuait de la désacraliser. Vous n'avez pas vu les tortures. Les mutilations génitales. Les yeux arrachés. Les mains et pieds d'enfants découpés. Les pères de famille arrosés de kérozène qui supplient à genoux et sur lesquels on jette une cigarette avec d'éclater de rire et de crier Allahu Akbar pendant qu'ils se tordent dans les flammes. Fauda 5 ne s'est pas étendu sur le massacre systématique des jeunes qui n'étaient là que pour faire la fête et danser. Aucun film, aucune série, ne peut rééllement reproduire les épisodes d'un progrom, durant lequel des démons ivres de sang s'en sont donné à coeur joie. Vous n'avez pas vu les chiens abattus à bout portant, les vaches exterminées à la mitrailleuse. Fauda est une fiction inspirée de la réalité. Je vis à 25km de Gaza. J'ai vu toutes les images, les vraies, les 47 minutes de l'armée et d'autres encore. Je mettrais volontiers mon pied dans le q... de tout islamogauchiste qui osera encore prétendre que Fauda a manqué de pudeur en reproduisant, sous forme de fiction, à peine 5% de ce qui s'est passé ce jour là.

JUDÉE-SAMARIE : REMETTONS SIMPLEMENT L’HISTOIRE DANS L’ORDRE.

On parle aujourd’hui de la « Cisjordanie » comme si Israël avait un jour envahi un État palestinien et lui avait volé son territoire.

Ce n’est pas ce qui s’est passé.

D’abord, pourquoi « Cisjordanie » ?

Parce que ce territoire se trouve de ce côté-ci du Jourdain. « Cis » signifie « de ce côté-ci ». De l’autre côté se trouvait la Transjordanie, devenue la Jordanie.

Mais le nom Judée-Samarie, lui, remonte à l’Antiquité.

Après la création d’Israël en 1948, plusieurs armées arabes attaquent le nouvel État juif. La Jordanie prend alors le contrôle de la Judée-Samarie et de Jérusalem-Est, puis les annexe.

Pendant près de 20 ans, jusqu’en 1967, le territoire est donc contrôlé par la Jordanie. Il n’existe aucun État palestinien souverain en Judée-Samarie.

Puis arrive 1967 : la guerre des Six Jours.

Israël demande à la Jordanie de rester en dehors du conflit. La Jordanie choisit malgré tout d’entrer en guerre et attaque Israël.

Elle perd la guerre. Elle perd aussi la Judée-Samarie et Jérusalem-Est, qui passent sous contrôle israélien.

Voilà ce qu’on oublie constamment :

Israël n’a jamais pris la Judée-Samarie à un État palestinien. Aucun État palestinien n’y existait en 1967.

Et l’histoire juive de cette terre ne commence évidemment pas en 1967.

Judée. Samarie. Jérusalem. Hébron. Shilo. Beit El.

Ces noms traversent des millénaires d’histoire juive, bien avant la création de la Jordanie moderne et bien avant l’apparition du terme politique moderne de « Cisjordanie ».

Alors avant d’accuser Israël d’avoir « volé la Cisjordanie à la Palestine », encore faudrait-il pouvoir répondre à une question très simple : à quel État palestinien Israël l’aurait-il prise en 1967 ?

La réponse est simple : à aucun.

Dear Andy Burnham,

I am perhaps the British citizen who has suffered most directly from Britain’s misguided policies towards Israel and the Palestinians over the past 25 years.

My Oxford-educated wife, Lucy, and my British-educated daughters, Maia and Rina, were brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the Jordan Valley in April 2023. Since their murders, the terrorists’ families have been eligible for payments from the Palestinian Authority under its notorious “pay-for-slay” system. The terrorist organisations responsible for so much bloodshed have also flourished in an environment sustained for decades by international funding, including British support for the PA and UNRWA.

And now you propose boycotting products made by Jews living in the West Bank.

You insist that you are not against Israelis. Yet you are prepared to single out Jewish Israelis like me for economic punishment.

That is the hypocrisy I find so difficult to accept.

For decades, Palestinian terrorism has killed thousands of innocent Israelis, like my wife and daughters, while the Palestinian Authority has operated a system financially rewarding prisoners and the families of those killed carrying out attacks partially funded by the UK. Yet your moral outrage is directed not at those institutions, but at Jewish businesses in Judea and Samaria.

Of course Palestinians have also been killed by Israelis, including tragically innocent people. But many deaths have occurred during terrorist attacks, armed clashes and Israeli security operations. Equating those circumstances with a government system that financially rewards convicted terrorists and their families obscures a crucial moral distinction.

To paraphrase the late Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks: criticising or boycotting Israel is not necessarily antisemitic. Singling out Israel for standards applied to no other country can be.

If you genuinely believe your policy is principled rather than discriminatory, I invite you to defend it publicly.

I would be happy to debate you on television, anywhere and at any time.

If you haven’t seen Fauda before (I know a lot of you have of course) but for those that aren’t familiar.. maybe the non-Jewish crowd or anyone that wants to know more about Israeli counter-terrorism. I seriously recommend watching it.

Give it a go from Season 1. It’s all on Netflix.

It’s an incredible show.

You’ll get an understanding of the lengths Israel has to go to, to defend against Islamic Terrorists and defend themselves.

Truly no other show like it.

This is truly a dark day for British Jews.

Today our Government has chosen to ignore the deep concerns expressed by so many of us.

The measures announced amount to little more than political flag bearing for mendacious anti-Israel rhetoric and those who harbour a dangerous obsession with the Jewish State. These measures will succeed only in bolstering the very extremism they seek to target.

On the eve of Rosh Hashanah and at a time when our community is more vulnerable than ever to the wave of extremism that has been building over recent years, these sanctions do nothing to advance the cause of peace. Nor do they make anyone safer – quite the contrary.

Gesture politics of this kind feeds into an increasingly hostile discourse about Israel, and the cumulative effect of such punitive policies is to further embolden those, at home and abroad, who use hatred as a weapon against Jews.
