I’m no sports lawyer, but there’s no way Toto’s fulfilling his fiduciary responsibility as George’s agent/manager running his mouth with these falsehoods.
Torger’s team owner/driver agent conflict of interest has always bothered me, but this is next level…
why everything this team says should be fact checked :
> torger lied about straightline speed issue after G said it on radio
> mercedes lied on debrief too
> fans spammed telemetry data proving there was an issue
> torger decided to say the truth but when its already too late
I doubt Mercedes would ever give us a proper explanation of what happened. They let journalists and haters say whatever they want, then Toto Wolff adds his own nonsense. But the data is there. I’ll always be grateful to those who analyze these things and share their insights.
If it weren't for TOTO's lies and race-fixing, Mercedes' bullying, the crew's weekend failure to fix his straight speed issues, the team skipping his podium ceremonies, and his constant F1 worries—can he get a fair car, fair judgment, team support, and TOTO's honesty next race?"
the worst part is when the team principal is the one throwing his own driver under the bus. he backs up what was said over the radio in the immediate post race interviews, then quietly changes his story days later and acts as if none of it happened.. by then, the damage is already done.. he original narrative has already gone viral and almost nobody (except george's fans) will ever read the follow up interviews.
Looking at the comments, most people know Max had a straight-line speed issue, but almost no one seems to know that George was slower than every other Mercedes-powered car, with his top speed seemingly capped. That’s the effect of Mercedes’ PR—people have forgotten about the issues with George’s car and are blaming him instead.
They always let George get called names and then rectify it in an Article NO ONE WILL READ except george fans.
He should shut his mouth for once or just say it's under investigation and it's true he lost time.
Finally it’s not just George’s fans who are starting to notice what’s been going on. No one is saying a driver can’t have a bad weekend, but Toto Wolff keeps throwing Russell under the bus before the full picture is clear. A leader should show more professionalism.
When something requires repeated explanation, it's too obvious to hide. Having the victim PR is pointless; it only proves bullying does exist. Mercedes wants people to believe him, but either give him the same car or let the other driver have five straight failures—that's fair.

whoever runs merc's pr needs to get control of toto bc all that he's been saying has been fueling agendas that george has no pace during these races, where in fact he's been having to drive with car issues.
more evidence for torger being a bum manager:
rob and otmar recounting how george cold-emailed them to get a meeting with his famous ppt. on his own, no third-party involved. he'd been a mercedes junior for 1.5 years at this point
add neglect/absenteeism to conflict of interest
now we have video evidence that Russell still had a huge harvesting issue - consistent with the "Glitch" in telemetry - in the RACE.
and Mercedes "couldn't see anything on engine power"??? It was "better in the race"???
1. Toto is lying
2. Their engineers are sht and amateurs
One cockroach means the whole house is infested. More data and videos prove GR faced restrictions and injustice at Silverstone, and PR interviews try to cover it up. Toto and the team must tell a different lie daily—why not just solve the problem and give him a normal car?"
Unless the RIS lights on Car 63 have been broken all weekend… I can see him harvesting ~150m less than Car 12 between T11/T12 in both sprint and race formats 🫠🫠
[Lap 1 onboards⏬, both on Strat 5 here]
Every time Antonelli's car has a problem, the cause is found immediately, but for George's they keep failing to find it—could the team have tampered with it themselves? With five straights at Spa, Mercedes must solve the straight‑line speed issue to prove fairness.
🚨 Toto on George's straight-line issue at Silverstone:
🗣️"He had all weekend a straight-line issue. We couldn't see anything on engine power,"
"It must have been down to some kind of mechanical situation, whether that was tow, or something else. But definitely the data confirmed that he was down, but very difficult to identify"
"That was much better in the race. We didn't see that anymore. But nevertheless, something we need to understand."
Everyone can see the telemetry data. Are you trying to cover up a lie by telling another lie after being caught lying? Toto, that profit‑hungry businessman, is attempting to turn the underworld into a private team.
