For example Shakira, she has been nominated and had been a winner of multiple latin grammys...but in the anglo grammys? she only has won the "latin" category, so yeah, it's about the forced and fake inclusion the grammys are trying to sell.

Funny bc is not only about the "Asian category", even though latin grammy exist, still a separate category of "LATIN" in the anglo grammys...shall we go for Asian grammys then? bc Asia has 48 countries and as far as I know, they're counting only kpop, cpop and jpop as "Asia"

La gente no entiende lo complejo que es cambiar y desarrollar las categorías de los Grammy, ni cuál era el objetivo general de introducir a los artistas asiáticos como una fuerza relevante dentro de los Grammy.
Es realmente triste y desalentador ver cómo se ha tratado todo este tema, cuando tantas personas, detrás de escena, han trabajado para dar visibilidad a los artistas asiáticos dentro de los Grammy —algo que antes no existía—. Conseguir algún nivel de representación era una misión real para muchos de nosotros.
Esta es una categoría nueva y nada es perfecto en su primera versión. En muchos sentidos, esta ni siquiera era una categoría pensada para BTS. Estaba destinada a artistas que necesitan mayor visibilidad y oportunidades para destacar, no a superestrellas del pop con décadas de trayectoria.
