@hellspatisserie You hear a lot of stories from old people about how they spent their youth roadtripping across the country, getting arrested, living as broke artists, etc before settling into "respectable" careers in their 20s/30s. That sort of reckless freedom is much more exclusive these days
It is unquestionable that safe injection sites save lives and funnel people into treatment. I know at least a dozen dudes who got to rehab from a priest or activist at a safe injection sites. If you oppose them I can only conclude that you don’t think addicts deserve to live
happy pride! a bunch of cops in riot gear just showed up to the gayborhood in riot gear swiveling their batons saying “party’s over” and “if you don’t leave there will be no mercy”!! they have everyone on 13th street kettled!!! it was terrifying and horrible
