@Airbnb Suspended my host account for alleged “misrepresentation.” I provided timestamps, cleaner reports, and receipts proving replacement chairs werepurchased before the guest’s stay Airbnb refuses to provide evidence supporting its accusation, yet my account remains restricted
Hey @Airbnb — if hosts stop unauthorized guests, bookings get canceled & payouts denied. If hosts later discover over-occupancy, Airbnb refuses enforcement too. So what exactly are hosts supposed to do? No-win situation for STR hosts. #Airbnb#AirbnbHost#BrianChesky
Airbnb put hosts in a no-win situation.
Deny check-in for too many guests → host loses payout. Allow check-in + provide camera proof of 16 guests in a max-10 home → claim denied.
Which rule should hosts follow?
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp@bchesky
@Airbnb@bchesky Host case closed with a template reply, no policy reference, no meaningful review. Guest violated rules → host incurred loss → claim denied as “administrative fine.” If this is AirCover, hosts deserve clarity.
AirCover promises “protection from guest misconduct and damage up to $3M.”
But apparently, a legal fine from a township — caused 100% by guests — doesn’t count.@Airbnb
@Airbnb canceled my guest's reservation without cause, blocked my calendar for 7 days, and now refuses payout—despite a strict cancellation policy. No explanation. Just "trust us." @bchesky@airbnbhelp this violates your own policies. Hosts deserve better. #AirbnbHost
@AirbnbHelp If a “verified account” can claim fraud without proof and still stay active… what’s the point of having Host cancellation policies?
Trust is broken.
I’ll be sharing screenshots and details below. Hosts deserve to know. #AirbnbHost#AirbnbFraud#HostProtection#ShortTermRental
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp.
“Airbnb let a verified guest cancel a 3 day non-refundable stay by falsely claiming fraud—AFTER saying his daughter booked it. Now they deny my payout. Is this the Host protection they promise? #AirbnbFraud#AirbnbHost”
@AirbnbHelp Airbnb:
❌ Accepted the chargeback
❌ Withheld my payout
❌ Gave me 5 copy-paste replies
❌ Kept the guest’s account active
➡️ No investigation. No accountability. No Host protection.
Meanwhile, This guest abused a loophole and Airbnb sided with him, leaving me with $0.
@AirbnbHelp 🚨 HOSTS BEWARE: Airbnb is not protecting us.
A verified guest booked my non-refundable listing. Then he claimed “his daughter made the booking” and Airbnb let him cancel via unauthorized chargeback

@Airbnb canceled a fully non-refundable reservation a week after booking, claiming “unauthorized charge.” No fraud occurred, no stay happened, and yet they refuse to pay out. My cancellation policy means nothing? @bchesky this hurts real hosts. #AirbnbHost#HMRTTZW5MB
Airbnb denied my valid damage claim with zero explanation — despite clear proof, estimates & time-stamped photos. This isn’t “host protection,” it’s a copy-paste brush-off. Reopening the case. @Airbnb@bchesky @djtwheat #AirbnbFail#HostSupport#DoBetter

Hey @bchesky — is this the “host empowerment” you preach? Your @Airbnb agents asked me for permission to refund a guest, then turned around and claimed she had a “right” to cancel.
Now my calendar was blocked for 18 days and my payout stolen. It’s abuse. #AirbnbFail#HostJustice
So @Airbnb claims my guest had the right to cancel because she was “confused”… yet two of their agents asked me for permission to refund her. If it was her right, why ask?
Meanwhile, Airbnb blocked my calendar for 18 days and stole my payout. This isn’t confusion — it’s theft.
@Airbnb is violating its own policies again. Guest accepted an alteration, then canceled an hour later—yet Airbnb refunded them in full and blocked my payout.
This breaks:
1Alteration policy
2Cancellation terms
3Trust & Safety standards
@AirbnbHelp#Airbnbviolation
Airbnb refunded a guest AFTER they accepted an alteration. They violated their own cancellation policy, blocked my calendar for 18 days, and denied my payout. Host protection? More like host exploitation.
@Airbnb
Despite my attempts to resolve this. airbnb violated their own cancellation and alteration policies, blocked my calendar for 18+ days, and refused to pay me for a confirmed booking. I was told “the team is aware”—but no correction was made.
@AirbnbHelp this needs executive review
