Meet Nicolas Acosta, @MDCPS’ 2025 Francisco R. Walker Teacher of the Year Finalist from @MDCPSCentral at @MSSH_Hawks. As a former logistics and aviation professional, he builds a strong relationship between the industry and his students with the understanding that guest speakers and field trips provide a unique glimpse into trades and professions. Mr. Acosta helped launch the new Aerospace Magnet program at his school. The program received the distinguished certification from NAF in 2019, and it serves as a source of inspiration to other schools across the nation. #YourBestChoiceMDCPS #MDCPSTOY
