@nydmvproblems please ask your web developers to code to modern internet standards. Chrome, just like AOL 25 years ago, does not equate to the internet. Firefox and Safari should work with your website too. Especially when you’re asking people to renew registration via the web.

@sujal Exactly. I had a great 24” dell monitor for about 8 years. I got a 1080p webcam at the start of the pandemic because Apple’s webcam was a joke. I hate the laptop speakers for music but an integrated set of good speakers and webcam to go alongside my external mic wouldn’t be bad.

@sujal The new monitor is WORLDS better than anything the ecosystem (including Apple’s hand picked partner in LG) has ever released. That it is this affordable makes it much more compelling.

@markgurman completely agree with your newsletter today about @Apple lagging behind in the home. The other place I find it comical how far behind they are is family set up (sharing calendars, contacts, photos). What they have today is a joke and barely adequate after 10 years.

I should not have to manually share every contact or calendar item with the other person. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAY THIS IS MY PHONE AND THAT IS HER PHONE. My name should not show up in settings on her phone. Contact Card vs storage IDs should be different on different devices.

@Apple can you please fix how icloud deal with families? This just in: people share contacts and calendars and the current way doesn’t work. In fact, none of the current ways work. It’s a horrible user experience and it has been that way for a decade.

Family sharing is not enough. It is useless for this purpose.
