Kids in elementary school are afraid to get on their bus, neighbors fear being targeted at the grocery store, and workers aren’t showing up to their jobs. 

That is the reality we are facing in Virginia and across the country and it has to change. 

That’s why I signed bills into law to ban law enforcement officers from wearing masks or face coverings to conceal their identities while on duty in Virginia, and why I issued an executive order to ban ICE officers from using state property to stage immigration enforcement.

Which internship are you speaking of?

I had 2 internships in college. One at Newsweek Magazine and the other at Saturday Night Live. Both lasted a little over a year and a half in the normal assigned time. My boss at Newsweek was Jon Meacham who I’ve kept a relationship with and later had me to speak with him at Vanderbilt University as well as has had me as a guest on his podcast well after my internship.

Lorne Michaels was a wonderful boss and remained supportive of me and my family for decades after.

I was also tracked heavily by Gawker during those internships given my nepo baby status and had I been fired - I assure you it would have hit the internet.

If you’re going to lie, lie about me well please. I’m many things but a bad intern was not one of them.

I am also 41 years old, we could turn the page, no?
