Fun fact for Baby ONCEs:

In 2016, Momo and Sana went back to Japan to sit for the 高等学校卒業程度認定試験 (Upper Secondary School Equivalent Examination) that certifies that you possess equivalent academic abilities to a normal high school graduate. They passed the examination. This certificate allows you to sit for university entrance exams.

As Momo and Sana left Japan after graduating Middle School (actually Sana allegedly was in Highschool for barely 2 weeks before leaving), while juggling debut TWICE activities, they studied all day by themselves before taking the exam in 2016!

Sana shared that she finally graduated Highschool at 21 (Korean age) in a Vlive on 20160222.

Translation below:

JIHYO: “Right so because of school, Sana and Momo… Ah, have you talked about this?”

SANA: “I’m going to talk about it eventually probably.”

JIHYO: “They went to Japan because they had to graduate highschool…”

SANA: “FINALLY I have graduated!”

JIHYO: “Finally! Yay!”

SANA: “I’ve graduated highschool at 21!”

JIHYO: “You’ve worked hard… Studying… Really they studied the entire day (everyday). Well done.”
