A poem by Jan Fran who has fought alongside us all for Palestine from the start. Mothers (and fathers) all over the world who care for their child. In Australia, in Italy, in China, in Lebanon, in Palestine. The same wish always-let my child be alright. Let him be free and happy:

@I_loveleft With all the fires, droughts, floods, climate change and earthquakes, I think our Earth is chewing us up and spitting us out. And rightly so.
‘Mostly, these private schools are not havens of academic excellence. They are routinely outperformed by the public system… they cultivate entitlement. They are by their nature exclusionary. They are about embedding inequality.’
Stop funding them!

“More than 100 French & British former diplomats have said #Palestine is being erased in front of the world’s eyes & called for urgent action including trade and arms sales bans to press Israel to accept a Palestinian state.” https://t.co/Undx8r0QL3
The most annoying thing about being human right now is knowing we already have the intelligence and resources to end world hunger, fight climate change, and cure cancer, but greed and billionaires keep millions suffering instead. The wasted human potential is heartbreaking.
Remember when they sold us the slogan, “Go paperless, save trees, save the planet”? Now we've gone digital, and it's consuming enormous amounts of water, destroying ecosystems, harming bees, and contributing to environmental damage on a scale paper never did.
“lost their lives”. What do you mean? Like they misplaced their spectacles, or their place in the book they were reading? They were murdered.
That’s what you mean.
Israel extends its condolences to the families of the seven World Central Kitchen aid workers in April 2024 who tragically lost their lives under deeply regrettable circumstances.
Israel immediately opened an examination of the incident, conducted by the General Staff Fact-Finding and Assessment Mechanism (FFAM), and had identified operational failures and took significant command and disciplinary measures.
The decision not to pursue criminal investigaion was made by Israel’s independent military prosecution authorities on the basis of strict professional and legal considerations. It is based on the legal threshold required for intiating criminal investigaion, which is when there is reasonable suspicion for criminal misconduct.

We remain committed to the safety of humanitarian personnel, compliance with international humanitarian law and preventing such tragedies from recurring.
I think you may find it's a reaction to 75 years of illegal occupation, property theft, oppression, violence against Palestinian civilians, ethnic cleansing, apartheid and the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent children. Would you stand by and watch that happen to your people without putting up a fight?
Palestinian journalist Hind Khoudary has opened a Gaza beach cafe, hoping to revive a much-loved part of life in the war-ravaged enclave. She hopes the cafe will offer a space where people can gather safely to relax despite the daily challenges of life.
The darkness over many parts of Havana is not just a blackout. It's the slow execution of the Cuban people by Trump and Rubio. As I walk through it's streets and I see each unlit window, it's a family forced to live in this terrible heat, for days without water, unable to store food, without sleep under a genocide engineered from Washington. This is state-sanctioned cruelty disguised as policy, a calculated campaign to crush a people into submission and force regime change. The world must stop looking away. The Cuban people deserve to live, not just survive, free from Trump's chokehold. Enough is enough!
