JanC (@jancvenzon) said that initially the organizers of Manila Fashion Week 2026 only invited BL stars but she insisted that she wanted GL stars in her show because she knows that a big portion of Charlotte Folk’s consumers are part of the sapphic community. She said that if she had agreed to having only BL stars in her show it would have been free (I’m guessing the costs would have been covered by the MNL FW organizer/s), but she really wanted GL stars so she’s happily shouldering the costs herself (LMSY’s talent fee transpo food etc. as well as their team’s).

She also said that a lot of Thai GL stars often tag Charlotte Folk on their social media posts because Filipino Thai GL fans give them to the stars as gifts, and she is very grateful. 💖
