CJP’s Jantar Mantar protest was practically neutralised by Delhi Police. Thousands of cops deployed, roads barricaded, internet suspended across a 4 km radius, CJP founder & spokesperson detained, Dhruv Rathee detained before he could join the protest.

And while the entire machinery was busy crushing a protest, neha bora & her followers apparently decided to switch plans and move to dilli haat, roughly 8 km away from jantar mantar.

Imagine announcing a protest to save democracy, watching the entire leadership get picked up, seeing the capital turned into a fortress and then having to improvise because the government has made reaching your protest site a mission of its own.

The government turned Delhi into a fortress to stop a protest. The real question is: what exactly is the government so afraid of? because when citizens demanding accountability are treated like a national security threat, the problem isn’t the protesters. It’s the people in power.

Thailand's LGBTQ+ community does not exist for your entertainment, and queer people are not fictional characters you get to switch off when they no longer fit your preferences.
