@SandonJacobs@AllenFreeman@adon7X@XSchauffele I’m not under the impression of that, and I’m not sure why you’d think that.
I don’t think the official or the rule is wrong. However it relies on the players honesty, and I’d question whether Xander would have tried to play that shot if free relief wasn’t an option.
@AllenFreeman@SandonJacobs@adon7X@XSchauffele He’s only getting relief because he tells the official that the tower is on his Intended path. If that tower wasn’t there I can’t see him attempting to play that shot

@HackItOutGolf For me I’d actually rather watch full swing. I usually watch the whole last round for the last few groups but I hardly watch the first 3 days.
@CarnivoreMe @Daniel_Rapaport We don’t quite have the same prize funds over here in Europe unfortunately.
They are both great players though, and only 22yrs old still.
@plod1956@shinermaginer@4golfonline They already do this, there are many versions of the PRO V1 balls which aren’t publicly available.

@MankowaWayne @KylePorterCBS @dcweller Most of the general play is already of the forward set of the back tees. Also the front tee box is very small so there isn’t enough room to move the tee location to keep the tee box in good condition.
This is pretty common in the UK
@MankowaWayne @KylePorterCBS @dcweller This really isn’t a valid option for a lot of places, my club has 2 tee boxes and 3 sets of tees. The back tee box has one set of tees at the back (White tees) and one set at the front (Yellow tees) and then the front tee box is 40-80 yards in front with red tees (1/2)
