Might I add that you tailor your CV to the countries and companies you are applying for. I recently supported a recruitment campaign where some of the Nigerians that applied were disqualified because they included their names and university attended in their applications

Well I have a contrary opinion based on my experience on this platform especially.

On this platform, we witness so often if not daily how seemingly responsible Men are insulted, called simps, reduced to 'woman wrapper' and whoever even seems to encourage any form of good treatment for women gets openly bullied and insulted.
Now this insult has no checks or balance, I was naive enough to think the So called religious ones will fare better but just 2 weeks ago even I have co- ordinated attacks, insults, curses simply because I am encouraging exactly what you are trying to casualise now. Female / Partners empowerment , support and financial liberation

So as a person I celebrate you, as a woman I salute you, as an advocate of women empowerment I specifically recognise your contribution and support both openly and behind the door. I see it, recognise and acknowledge it

So on behalf of women like me, your wife and any Sane Man who knows the value of partners growth , inclusion and support , I say an Open Thank you and not ashamed to do so

I can only hope and pray that many Men especially Muslim Brothers take a Cue from you and your Kind, I am building my lists and I have 6 of you already so far and I sincerely hope the pool increases.

May the Lord continue to bless and elevate you as you build the women around you to greater success and actualisation. May you be Honoured with long life in good health to reap the benefits too and may Your Union and Home continue to be Blessed.

Thank you for this @mrmavens_ I think we focus too much on joining unions (when in actual fact, they are not properly equipped to support our unique issues) instead of actually reading our workplace handbook from pali to pali which will be more helpful in preventing issues.

My wife had an issue , she went to the union she’s been in for 5years and the only solution they gave is leave the job . Most of this unions are toothless . Nigerians we should focus on building a community. Am part of an Indian community and you need to see how they rally round and provide real support , housing , jobs , sponsorships , business grants quietly , their community is so strong employers don’t mess with Indians in this country. NIGERIANS LETS BUILD A COMMUNITY, INDIVIDUALITY HAS NOT HELPED US IN ANYWAY
